Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents of Winona Ryder chose her name after the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother, were both authors and editors. Ryder's parents also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. When Ryder was seven, her family relocated into Mendocino County California. They resided in an area without electric power. Ryder read a lot due to the lack of television. Ryder began taking classes in acting at American Conservatory Theatre when she was 12 years old. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986, was her first major part. Ryder was just fifteen when she landed the role. Ryder was bullied in high school. She hoped acting might change the situation. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. However, it didn't stop her from following her dreams. Her breakthrough came with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder played successful roles for several films. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for the Academy Awards.
